Regional Kids (Inc) is an independent, not-for-profit, non-government organisation that has been established to provide support, understanding and awareness for the families of regional children suffering serious childhood disease.
Regional Kids (Inc) was established in recognition of the unique difficulties faced by rural and remote families when faced with the issues that arise when a child has a serious childhood disease. Unlike families in major cities these families have the added emotional and financial burden of long distance travel, accommodation and isolation from their community supports.
Regional Kids offers rural and remote families assistance and support, raise community awareness and assist in purchasing much needed specialized paediatric equipment for our regional hospitals.
