Kimberley Regional Kids

Kimberley Regional Kids (KRK) is a regional charity supporting Childrens Health Services throughout the Kimberley in Western Australia. Based in Broome, KRK is run by a fun group of passionate volunteers who love fundraising and organizing great events!
It all started when Mr Rod Heyns, Chairperson of Kimberley Regional Kids, met the ladies of the “Broome Business Chicks” (BBC) group ,a professional womens’ networking group which started in Broome in September 2010 by Natasha Mahar and Debbie Gibson. The two organizations decided to work together to make a difference to the kids affected by serious childhood disease within the regiona and together they have made Kimberley Regional Kids the dynamic and fast growing charity it is today. KRK is also the Charity partner of the Broome Business Chick group and all fundraising from their meetings and get togethers is directed straight to Kimberley Regional Kids to help them achieve their goals. Talk about passion and commitment !
One of KRK’s immediate priorities is to assist the Children’s Health Services in Broome with items for their new clinic. This includes, furniture, toys and potentially in kind services. KRK is also looking at preparing care packages for children in hospital with items including clothing, toys, games etc.
We aim to stage 1-2 major charity events each calendar year and continue to fundraise through the Broome Business Chicks network.

The Kimberley Regional Kids Board is made up of the following people:

Rod Heyns – Chairperson
Deb Gibson – Executive Officer
Natasha Mahar – Treasurer
Rebecca Blue – Administrator
Kelli Hickey – Board Member
Suzi Kent – Regional Kids Inc. Chair / Founder
